This site collects as little personal data as possible. The points below explain what is collected, why, and what you can do about it. Equivalent to a Datenschutzerklärung under EU GDPR.
Who's responsible
The data controller for this site is the operator named in the Impressum.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA, USA). Cloudflare automatically processes server log data when you load a page — including your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and the referring URL. This is a standard hosting log, retained for security and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Embedded third-party content
The Music section embeds players from SoundCloud (SoundCloud Limited, Berners House, 47-48 Berners Street, London, UK). When you load a page that contains a SoundCloud player, your browser contacts SoundCloud's servers and SoundCloud may set cookies and process your IP address. We have no control over the data SoundCloud collects through these embeds. See SoundCloud's Privacy Policy.
If you do not want this data exchange to happen, do not interact with the embedded players, or use a privacy-blocking browser extension.
Contact form & email
The booking form on the home page submits via a mailto: link, which opens your local email client to send the message — no data is transmitted to or stored by this site.
If you email us directly at hello@djagentmay.com, we process your message and contact details to respond to your enquiry. We retain that correspondence for as long as is necessary to handle the booking and any follow-up. We do not share it with third parties.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not set its own cookies, does not run analytics, and does not include any third-party tracking pixels. The only cookies that may be set are by SoundCloud's embedded players (see above) and only when you interact with them.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to request information about, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (Articles 15, 16, 17 GDPR). You may also object to processing or request data portability (Articles 18, 20, 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, email us at hello@djagentmay.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for the operator's location.
